I thought MSIE was Microsoft Internet ExplorerYou are correct on this. I think that is what most employees at Microsoft use to call IE.

July 8, 2004 at 4:13 pm #63246f0rbezMemberfirefox, but since thats not an option I chose mozilla.
July 8, 2004 at 6:37 pm #63252kyuubiMemberFIREFOX!!!!! firefox all the way people……
July 8, 2004 at 7:13 pm #63251SushiMan92MemberNooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo way people! Opera is the browser to use now with v. 7.52!! It is the fastest browser that I have ever used and it has a VERY easy download manager! And I also use Maxthon (the new MyIE2 beta). Both are incredibly fast, and user friendly. I like Opera better though LOL.
November 24, 2004 at 5:15 pm #63257PiercedMemberThat’s Opera!
November 24, 2004 at 5:43 pm #63250QuiksilverMemberFirefox. It rocks…….
-quikNovember 25, 2004 at 6:39 am #63248neo_ny_23MemberI would go with Mozilla Firefox coz Internet explorer has many bugs. Especialy my MSIE is all messed up and I use Firefox all the time unless I need some plugin.
November 26, 2004 at 12:24 am #63249SpikeMember*sigh* I’m one of the few that enjoys the power, security, and ease of use of Maxthon. So I voted ‘Other’.
November 27, 2004 at 8:43 pm #63247colinMemberI am undecided between IE and Firefox. I like IE’s simplicity, but tabbed windows rock. I also, upon reading this thread, downloaded Opera, and it’s pretty cool. That might be my new favorite, I’ts awesome
December 2, 2004 at 6:52 am #63256vikshankerMemberfirefox. firefox. firefox.

December 2, 2004 at 7:47 am #63253gossipingraeMemberhey, does anyone know if I can download these things such as firefox and whatnot for free? i’ve experienced lots of problems with IE, and if I can change it without a charge, then i’ll switch.
December 3, 2004 at 12:28 am #63227Jeff HesterKeymasterIt’s definitely Firefox now. I won’t be going back to IE anytime soon. Actually never. I love Firefox.
gossipingrae: To get Firefox go here http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ (Yes it’s free)
December 3, 2004 at 1:52 am #63254gossipingraeMemberthanks miami…once I download it, do I just go into my programs on my computer and uninstall IE?
December 3, 2004 at 1:55 am #63228Jeff HesterKeymasterNoooooo, don’t uninstall internet explorer. I think it is essential to windows. That would be crazy. Plus it’s good to have a backup just in case. I’d advise you to leave your internet explorer there.
Edit: Yes you can remove the icon from the desktop if you wish. Yes you can also delete it from the quicklaunch if you wish as well.
