Does anyone know where yahoo messenger plugins are saved to on a computer?
I haven’t been able to find them in my hours of searching. I have searched within Program FilesYahoo and Local SettingsApplication DataYahoo and I even searched in my registry. I can’t find where they are………
The whole point of this is actually because I started using a plugin called “Status Restorer” which restores your status back to what it was after signing out and signing back in, but it only does this if you sign out/in within 10 minutes. I was going to attempt to change that to an indefinite number, or a very very high number in case I didn’t log back in after a day even. I would still want it to auto set my status back to what it was. I haven’t even begun to attempt to make this modification because I can’t even find where it is on my computer, or for that matter where any other yim plugin is!
So ultimately what I need to know is where to find plugins on my computer. Any help with this is GREATLY appreciated. No one seems to really know that I’ve asked.
On windows xp they can probably be found in C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataYahoo!MessengerPlugin
thank you! i finally found that plugin with your help, but unfortunately i wasnt able to do what i wanted because it seems there is a lot more involved with yahoo plugins than i thought. 🙁
That plugin hasn’t been updated in near 3 years and i doubt it works anymore, and if you did find it, it would be a dynamic link libary and you wouldn’t be able to change it’s settings without diggign deep into that and would more than likely break it since it’s so old.
