I though I would find this somewhere but it seems like one of those little discussed points?
I’ve had it with trying to get MSN messenger working for audio conversations so I wanted to see what other IM accept audio, video, videoconferencing connections? I tried looking at the AOL & Yahoo IMs but they do not say very explicitly that they support audio?
I am aware that netmeeting, msn messenger support audio & video but what others do? I run Trillian also but that doesn’t have audio support.
After looking around a bit I came across eyeball chat – which seems to support both audio & video but I didn’t look if it is a free service, i got the impression that if it is free now that they will probably start charging if it gets popular.
Would appreciate any help on this
Thanks

I don’t know AOL IM myself other than having had it installed for two minutes after which I got so sick of it that I uninstalled it.
However, Yahoo IM has both audio and video capabilities.
