I have narrowed it down to the Compaq Presario V5101US and the Dell Inspiron B130.
What do you recommend for basic coursework, internet, few gaming, and maybe some media?
Thanks!
Woah! Definately the Compaq! You get more “bang for your buck”, because the laptop includes an ATi Radeon Express Mobile card (awesome for gaming, wipes the Intel Extreme Gfx away) and it appears to be cheaper. I just recently bought a value laptop for myself, as well (a Toshiba Satellit L25), and I’m very pleased with it (especially the ATi card). The Presario, indefinately.
Yeah, thanks for you response, I was leaning toward the Compaq also. When you mentioned the “ATi Radeon Express Mobile card “, are we talking about the same Compaq?
That is the Compaq I am considering.
Thanks again, you have been a big help.
Um…didn’t you read the description for your own laptop??
I read it on another site…That didnt include Graphics Cards and such…
