Thanks to Sh8kes 32, I wanted to bring up another older topic. The last time this topic was posted back in 2004, the Motorola Razr was over $600 and most of the images were broken, plus I’m positive most people have new phones anyway (I’m now on my third phone since the topic).
So lets hear it! What phone do you have? Post a pic and tell us what you like / don’t like!
After my brief one year (and a bit) intercourse with Motorola, I decided NEVER to buy another! Currently I have the Nokia 6165i. I do have a Motorola Bluetooth headset though that works wonders! 🙂
January 25, 2007 at 11:37 pm #157381NessaParticipantI currently have the Motorola PEBL:
And yes i absolutely love my phone! I don’t like the other colors they brought out in the Pebl, but the black i have is really nice. Plus it’s easier to hold than the RAZR because of it’s ovalness shape. It also takes really nice pictures even when you zoom in. I have no real complaints about it other than the silver on the inside gets dirty really fast with fingerprints or any possible thing!
Good topic btw! 😛
January 25, 2007 at 11:39 pm #157379MrEggsaladParticipantI’ve got a Motorola Q. Yes, a 14 year old with a Q. What can I say? I’m geeky. This phone is great, I can text, take pics, browse the web (without that crappy mobile phone web stripper-downer), and run many applications! Is it a PDA or a phone? Well..mostly a phone, but it’s still pretty nifty. I love it.
January 26, 2007 at 1:17 am #157376princeGParticipantI have a Sony Ericsson W300i. Perfect phone for music, it has quite a big mp3 memory and takes very good pictures as well. 😎
January 26, 2007 at 1:22 am #157386PhilipModeratorI bought the Sony Ericsson K510i last August to replace my ageing Nokia, and have never regretted it. Although it’s not as full-featured as some of its more expensive brethren, the K510i still manages to cram a full HTML browser, Bluetooth, Infrared, Java, push email support, music player, speaker, and a full suite of Outlook applications into its sleek small-sized body. Plus, I’ve never had a thing for clamshell phones (call me a traditionalist)
Couple this with a sharp and vibrant 262K-color TFT display, 1.3 megapixel camera, good sound quality, etc. and it’s easy to fall in love with this phone. The only snag is that the built-in 28MB memory can’t be expanded  Never mind, that gives me an excuse to eye the K800i when my birthday comes :p
January 26, 2007 at 1:47 am #157382PolarBearNPRParticipantI’ve got this piece of poo phone. It’s got great ratings and lots of folks think highly of it, but I think it’s a piece of poo. It looks great, is very slim, takes pretty good pictures, but I think it’s a piece of poo. Not being a techno-geek, I find it difficult to get things easily, like ring-tones, etc. Guess I need to work with it more but . . . well . . . I still think it’s a piece of poo. And no . . . I didn’t choose it.
January 26, 2007 at 1:49 am #157377princeGParticipantI like that LG phone, it’s sexy enough, but, mine is better 😀
Quiz: How many times did Polarbearnpr say the word poo?? Dont cheat now!
January 26, 2007 at 2:26 am #157368TigerbladeParticipantI hate you all. I have a crappy Nokia 3120. When I upgraded my cell plan two years ago, I got to pick a new phone, but I didn’t particularly want to spend $100 on a slick state-of-the-art phone… so I went for the cheap-o $20 giveaway phone. You know, the really cheap phones they massively discount… this is one step above the free phone.
Right now I’m again eligible to upgrade my phone at the discount rate, but I still don’t want to spend a ton of money to get a new, nice phone. So i’m sticking with this one.
January 26, 2007 at 2:26 am #157366detn8rParticipanthahaha… nice touch with the poo emoticon! :p
Philip, that’s a great looking phone you have. I didn’t want to go with another phone with an open screen that isn’t protected. I tend to keep my phone in my pocket and it gets beat up a little.
Although I love the background image the phone has as it’s promo — did it actually come with the phone though?

January 27, 2007 at 6:04 am #157387PhilipModeratordetn8r: no, that promo background image didn’t come with the K510i. If I were to take the plunge and go for a clamshell it would be the W710i. Sony Ericsson phones are just so…sexy.
Tigerblade: I used a Nokia 3120 for the past two years before it went south. Despite being a “crappy” phone, it served me pretty well, although I dropped it a few times. However, I felt I needed a change after using 3 or 4 Nokias, so that’s why I went over to the Sony Ericsson camp.
And we know deep down you really love us…
January 28, 2007 at 1:19 am #157369TigerbladeParticipantI’m gonna be getting me a new phone tomorrow, looks like. I was in the cingular store today and decided I really like the Sony Ericsson W810i. Really really like. It’s got pretty good reviews, and they’ve got a great rebate on it going right now, so it’ll be relatively cheap.
