Which movie is best. They are all great but I can’t decide wich one is.;)
July 17, 2003 at 7:53 pm #59361coolguyj2MemberLOTR 1 rocked w/o a doubt, but matrix was equally good…. LOTR 2 was a disappointment after LOTR1….
July 17, 2003 at 7:55 pm #59360shifterMemberThe original Matrix cannot be beat in my mind :D. Although Lord of the Rings comes to a close second.
I don’t think its fair to split up the LOTR films into sequels, its really all one great story. Its like saying -do you think chapter 12 is better than chapter 26? You gotta keep em together in my opinion 😉
July 17, 2003 at 8:16 pm #59353FaizanMemberHmm I actually like Spider-Man! It IS a wicked movie! I love it!
🙂

July 18, 2003 at 12:07 am #59363witchMemberThe Matrix:Reloaded was disappointing…… after Matrix I reckoned the sequel would be spectacular. But this just goes to show, you can’t beat an original.
July 19, 2003 at 3:22 am #59358Someguy03MemberNot exactly, look at Terminator 3, it was better than both Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. But after hearing that they are making atleast 1 more terminator i dont know. It’s gonna be like rocky, 3 is enough, no more or else people get tired of it.
July 19, 2003 at 3:27 am #59362witchMemberTerminator 3 hasn’t even been released in my country yet ( I know, dark ages and all that!:)) ,but I’ll take your word for it.
July 19, 2003 at 12:45 pm #59351Jeff HesterKeymasterThe Matrix rocked, for sure. It was so different and broke so much new ground that I had to return and see it several times. Yes, Matrix Reloaded was not as good. It felt overproduced… as if the Warchowski brothers, flush with cash from the success of the first movie, got a little carried away. More emphasis on bigger scenes, but they felt less connected with the plot. The “rave” scene in Zion is a perfect example. This is the “real world?” Hell, I think I would have chosen the Matrix! Nothing but a bunch of barefoot urchins in rags.
But I also agree with Shifter that you really need to treat the trilogy as chapters in the same book (which is how the Matrix was conceived, after all). I think a more interesting survey will be which trilogy did you like better: LOTR or Matrix? Once their all out, of course.
Anyhow, I voted for the Lord of the Rings. Cinematography and effects that leave you awestruck without taking away from the richness and depth of the story. But I’m still thinking of it as chapters in a book! 😉
July 29, 2003 at 9:29 pm #59364captnpiratessMemberYOU LEFT OUT PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN!!! PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER. 😀
July 29, 2003 at 9:34 pm #59355IndyToneMemberI vote Brewster’s Millions, or Ishtar.
July 30, 2003 at 2:30 am #59356Someguy03Membercaptnpiratess, I wrote this Poll before pirates of the caribbean came out. I will add it in if i can. Sorry if i scared you by not including a movie with johnny depp in it. 😉
August 3, 2003 at 5:49 pm #59365VenommanMemberI would have to agree with Jeff’s opinion on the matrix reloaded, but i didn’t think it was a dissapointment.
August 15, 2003 at 2:38 pm #59352Mr. DiablosMemberSpider-man is ALWAYS the best movie! (<- biggest Spidey fan)
