MemberSince there’s 4 teams left, with many of the favourites out, who will win this year’s championship?

MemberI had to go for Portugal. Being English, I obviously paid close attention to that damned quarter final, and of course one Urs Meier. I think they’ll win it because against us English, their fitness levels were incredible. Perhaps this has something to do with them having an extra day to recover, but even so. Cristiano Ronaldo was all over the pitch that day, he is a superb prospect. I think the final, or rather, I hope the final will be Holland vs Portugal.
My head says Portugal, but my heart said England. Now though, I would like Holland to win it, I don’t think that’ll happen though.

KeymasterFor anyone wondering what the Euro 2004 is, check out the official Euro 2004 website.
How about Milan Baros and the Czechs? He’s already scored 5 goals! It’ll be interesting to see if he’ll maintain that level of performance on Wednesday.

MemberI agree with Jeff. The Czechs should win. This is partially because im impressed by their 3-0 victory, partially because I really dont want portugal to win… Cheating ******** 🙁
Did anyone see the goal England had dissallowed? The goalkeeper fell over… and it was disallowed as a foul… Why?? 🙁

MemberIf only Sol Cambell’s goal had been allowed, which it should have, then it could be sitting here typing “England”!
I went for Portugal because the quality of their players is a lot better than the likes of the other 3. The Czechs will be very tough rivals but in the end, I think Portugal will win it.
Con-sarnet. Their ego will be through the roof if they win it again!

In fact, he ignored everyone, and went with his own decision.
Unfortunately, in football these days, if the goalkeeper goes down, he is adjudged to have been fouled. If you touch the goalkeeper, and he doesn’t even go down, it is sometimes given as a foul. I can understand referees protecting goalkeepers, but I think this has been taken to extremes.
