Hi,
I noticed this odd this yesterday about my ID.. Suddenly my user id here at BBB changed to neo_ny_23+ where as the real user name is like neo_ny_23. I was wondering why and from where that “+” came from and why the font color is in Orange now?
May 16, 2005 at 3:16 am #57517OreoMemberIt means they are premier members.
May 16, 2005 at 3:20 am #57521gossipingraeMemberI was just going to ask that. So premier members are no longer in purple, but rather orange with a + symbol.
So all members of this forum who have a premier subscription or MoTM or moderaters/admins are now in bold?
May 16, 2005 at 3:38 am #57520TigerbladeParticipantit appears that way. i noticed the + next to my name earlier yesterday, but it was dropped off later. i guess Jeff or DJ were playing around with the user templates seeing what styles would look good.

Jeff thinks DJ isn’t skilled enough anymore to be forum admin, so now I’m just system administrator. 🙂As for the +, it’s a bit weird that’s it’s there. The actual meaning of a + behind a username is that the user is on your buddy list, but in this case… it’s decoration, I guess. Whoopdeedoo. 🙂
May 16, 2005 at 1:27 pm #57522gossipingraeMemberOkay, so I guess there is no MoTM title anymore, it will just be “Mentor” instead? I don’t like that idea. I think everyone who earned that title should have it proudly displayed by their username.

However for BBB staff, it is best for other members if they know your status.
May 16, 2005 at 1:50 pm #57518DavidParticipant‘Mentor’ is a new staff position, it has nothing to do with Member of the Month.
May 16, 2005 at 5:13 pm #57515detn8rParticipantFYI, MOTM inductees lost their member title back in January with the forum software conversion. We’ll see about them coming back.
June 7, 2005 at 5:27 am #57523Eagle_KiwiMemberDoes that + have to “go with the territory” (for Premier) ?
I’d like to sign up, to support BBB – but NOT if my name will no longer show as just plain “Eagle_Kiwi”
(Colour I don’t mind, but NOT something that could easily confuse/mislead people, like “Eagle_Kiwi+” !) -
