Anyone using winmx instead of spyware, I mean kazaa?
If so what do you think of it? Any problems?

I think winmx is really good!! i havent had n e problems so far. but i like the fact that u can choose the quality of the songs u download. i like to get em as close to cd quality as possible! i dunno why tho, but i tend to use kazaa more, its just automatic for me to open kazaa when i need to download sumthing! it doesnt bother me…if i cant find wot i want on kazaa, winmx usually has it!
any downfalls? any tips?

You dont have to put up with spyware in yr fast-track software.
Theres 2 million two hundred thousand plus fast-track users online right now to share n swap files, I cant argue with that logic.
rustedtightI’ve been using winmx for some time now,and find it better to use than kazaa.
It now has multi user downloads,so if 1 disconnects no probs,the download continues.Have you ever tried adding napmx to winmx?
I use it all the time. It adds about 200 extra servers to your searches and greatly increases your search results.

One problem i have with winmx, which i dont with kazaa is that when u search, almost every file seems to busy, so when u connect to download, u are automatically put in a queue…but with kazaa, many files that i download, im sure r busy but still it downloads, just at a slow pace! so i search for other medias to download from, and that usuaully picks the speed up!

Yeah thats one of the disadvantages of multi user downloads,they seem to take up more of the available upload slots.
Have you seen and used the new version? I like it allot better. Auto set it to hunt every 10 mins without concern. Makes things easier.

I agree with Rustedtight, WinMX is way too slow!! BTW.. my schools site blocker did not allow me to use winmx.com cause its contains Loop Hole Sites. If it doesnt work for you try this site: http://download.com.com/3000-2166-10147090.html?tag=list
hi ive tried winmx a number of times i have the latest version my there so slow. anyway what i want to say is this when i download certain songs on winmx then play them the song is not sung by the artist they say its by another artist. cant they get the right artist up on the music download board. its annoying you think i been searching for this song by a certain artist then you find its someone different singing the song.
