I’m currently having two isses:
1) After voice/video call is initiated. the sound I’m receiving is warbled and unaudible. From what I know, the contact can hear my voice fine. The videoin chat is going perfectly as well.
2) As a result of this, I tried to uninstall/repair Windows Live Messenger 2009. I went to control panel-add/remove programs, and clicked Windows Live Essentials. I click repair/uninstall and nothing happens. I’ve tried various remover programs, yet for some reason, on attempting to reinstall, it says I already have a version of Messenger on my computer.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a bunch,
Kevin
Hello and welcome to BBB! There are known incompatibilities with voice and video and chances are you won’t fix it with a fresh install.
Can you tell me what “remover” programs you have tried to fix the problem of not being able to reinstall? Also, please indicate which operating system you are using and the service pack level as well.
If you’ve not tried the instructions for using Zap Messenger by Jonathan Kay please do so and let me know if that resolves the problem.
