ModeratorBeta 2 is the latest version of WLM8.5. There’s not much difference from Beta 1, aside from the fact that it’s available in 35 languages, compared to 6 for Beta 1. You can download it from the official site here. NOTE: this is a Windows Live Installer, not a self-executing .exe file. I’d personally uncheck every box if all you want is WLM itself.
Be aware that this is still a beta, so if you’re happy with your present build of WLM there’s no urgent need to upgrade yet.

KeymasterThanks for the post, Philip. Is there anything else new aside from the added language support?

ModeratorNo significant changes in this Beta 2 version, Jeff. Just a slightly darker default header color and when you click Help > About Messenger it displays Version 2008 instead of 8.5.

MemberPreviously in one of my created groups I had close to 160 people in this list. Now I look at it and it contains only 50 members.

ModeratorThis could be due to a corrupted contact list at the WLM server end, which has nothing to do with your computer. Or unless a lot of your contacts have deleted or blocked you.

ModeratorI don’t think so, unless you’ve saved your contact list beforehand. In WLM8.1 and above, go to File > Contacts > Save instant messaging contacts.
