Today Microsoft released the final version (Build 8.0.0787) of Windows Live Messenger. There are few changes from the last beta to this final version; mainly bug fixes and a few visual changes like in the Sharing Folder and Windows Live Today icons. Windows Live Messenger is not supported on operating systems older than Windows XP. The biggest change? No more beta!
Sadly, rumors that the integration with Yahoo has been postponed appear to be true, although we know there is a version that is being tested.
