Hello Everyone: I upgraded the Adobe Flash and it asked me to put McAfee on with it and I declined, but it put it on anyway without my permission.
Anyway I tried to make a usual call to a friend using windows live Messenger (which always worked before) although I can still instant message him, I can no longer call him or anyone pc to pc, I keep getting this message>>> “
Messenger is not available right now. Please try again later. (0x8ac70013)<<< Now I was told this is due to the McAfee Site Advisor
So I removed All of McAfee then I reinstalled the Wlm but I am still getting this message.
Anyone know how to get rid of this message? ThanksDecember 30, 2009 at 12:52 am #176501Doris KenneyParticipantHere is a write up from Raymond.cc on the McAfee site advisor problem and the workaround. However, this is for when you still have Site Advisor on the machine.
I’m not sure how you removed it, and perhaps there are still some remnants of it on your machine. It would be worth taking a look at the article and just seeing if following the steps helps in any way.
Site advisor appears to be a difficult one to get removed. For suggestions you can take a look at this thread.

But just for the heck of it I will try there tool (cant hurt)
As I might have mentioned this only affects the pc to pc on windows messenger.
Will let you know if mcafee removal removes anything.BTW, I do see alot on google who are having the same problem.
