It was Comodo Firewall. I uninstalled it and restarted, didn’t get the reverting updates message, and all my processes are working fine now.

Really? What version of Comodo Firewall? I run it (with Defense+ off) and I have no problems whatsoever with it.

Here is the link I found awhile back on the subject in Comodo Forums. There is a referenced link in there to a very lengthy blog post how the solution was found. The answer was not to uninstall Comodo, but as you suggest Ven0m, deactivate Defense+ temporarily.

If you don’t need the HIPS protection running, when installing, opt to use the Firewall only option. 😉
