MemberI wonder how to add the addin option on WLM. I have already tried to do what there is in the internet – add the dword – AddInFeatureEnabled set to 1, but it didnt work.
I dont want to use MSG Plus because I have problem with this software.
If anyone has a patch to add it automatically, I would appreciate receiving it.
I use Windows Vista.
thanks.

MemberWhat exactly are you trying to do? I use Messenger Plus! Live (the latest) and I don’t have any issues at all.

ParticipantYes, Messenger Plus! works perfectly fine – I have it on several different computers with absolutely no issues whatsoever.
But unless we can clearly understand what it is you are trying to accomplish then we can’t really help you.

MemberHi,
OK, for someone of you, msg plus works fine, but not for me, so, in THIS THREAD, I would like to discuss how to make available the addin option. I have already other thread to discuss the problem about Msg plus.
If anyone know how to do to make available the addin option, I would apreciate it a lot.
thanks.

ParticipantI’ve done a Google search on this mysterious Add-In option to which you repeatedly referred. There is indeed a registry hack to enable the hidden by default add-in tab in WLM.
If you followed the directions properly you should see the add-in tab after changing the registry entry. Are you under the impression that enabling the add-in tab is going to give you some list of hidden things you can use? It won’t. If what you want is to learn how to write your own add-ins feel free to go to this page and check out the rather lengthy information they have posted. That is how the add-in tab works, you can insert your own add-ins, not to show you hidden things. Honestly I’m not one for all that work. I’ll use Plus!
