Hey,
This has started recently (I’ve made no changes in hardware/software) and is really bugging me.
As the title suggests, my WLM keeps randomally logging off. I’ve tried isolating the problem with the help of the connection log file but it left me baffled.
I’ve also tried to upgrade to the WLM 9 latest beta and the problem still exists.

Hello and welcome to BBB! Have you scanned for viruses and spyware? Are you getting disconnected from any other internet activities or just WLM?

Are you on XP or Vista?

Hi and thanks.

I’ve scanned for viruses and spyware.
The only thing that gets disconnected is WLM.

I’m on Vista x64 SP1.

I too, experienced this random logging in and out for about 10 minutes today (I’m using the latest WLM9 beta). Then the problem vanished. I don’t think the problem is at your end.

Try downgrading to version 8.5 if this gets too annoying for you. I’m sorry it’s not a perfect solution, but let us know how it goes.

It’s been going on for weeks (on 8.5 too) so I’m pretty sure it’s not a global problem.

Can anyone translate what’s in the log so I can understand it better? what are all these ‘log off’ entries?

I don’t know anything about the logs, but I’d suggest going to Control Panel/Admin Tools/Event Viewer and seeing if you can find some clue there as to what’s going on. It’s an often overlooked place to find answers to problems like these. If you see a repetitive error take a look at it and see what you can come up with – it very well may point you in the right direction.

Seems like I keep getting these lines everytime before it disconnects:

What’s happening is that sometimes my client doesn’t reply to the server PNG (ping) commands. usually it returns a QNG command to acknowledge connectivity, but when it fails to do so the socket is regarded to as closed (error 10053) and the log off procedure kicks in.

I’m in contact with the WLM escalation team but with no success.
Any gurus out there who can try to troubleshoot this issue?

I have the same problem as you. This problem has been nagging me for
last 3 months and I still not find a way to solve it. I’ve tried to replace ADSL Router/ Network Switch one by one, and also install new network card、change network cable and port . No use at all.
