December 6, 2004 at 5:06 pm #107773DJHyperbyteMemberDid you read the reviews on the buyer? 5 objects bought, 3 not paid. Doesn’t look he’s going to pay this one. 🙂
December 6, 2004 at 5:13 pm #107785gossipingraeMemberi’m not into ebay, lol. I was just reading the comments. still sounds bizarre to me
December 6, 2004 at 6:11 pm #107776Hurricane22491MemberHow… um… odd.
But $15,099.99?! Who would pay that much for something they can’t even see or use?!
December 6, 2004 at 11:24 pm #107775RabidKittenParticipant…did you guys read the little story down there? She’s selling the cane in hopes to quell her son’s fear of her fathers ghost, in selling the cane she’ll tell the son that the ghost followed the cane. Kind of strange, but hey, whatever helps I suppose.

It’s obviously not the same thing, but it’s so similar, I think it’s ridiculous.
December 8, 2004 at 9:07 pm #107780Crazy PenguinMemberErrmm correct me if i’m wrong but that IS the same story isn’t it?
December 8, 2004 at 10:16 pm #107778Hurricane22491MemberNot quite. There are some small difference between them, such as the age of the child. But according to that website, that was the real one, and all the others are ‘imitators’.:)

December 10, 2004 at 10:44 am #107782Ithaca1937MemberStuff like that is the reason I don’t like E-bay. When I look at e-bay I see mostly used over priced items that I can find localy for about the same price new. The only good thing about e-bay is trying to find those “hard to find” items.
December 10, 2004 at 10:41 pm #107783camsterMemberif you search ebay now, there are tons of people doing the same thing think they’ll get 15 grand. Now we’ll be seeing things all over it with people selling souls and spirits.
December 12, 2004 at 3:38 am #107774DaJMan1800MemberThis imitation is really pathetic:

What really sent me into a laughing fit was the part that said “We have caught My Father’s Ghost in a jar as you will see below.” Then when you look below, you see a clipart jar with a little sheet ghost floating around inside.
December 12, 2004 at 2:46 pm #107779Red DevilMemberQuote:quote:”toys and clothes” (toys and clothes as seen in the photo, actual ghost in a jar not shown but will be shipped also) that our daughter threw at the ghost to render him unconscious so that we could capture him and put him in the jar …Oh no… That is really pathetic… At least no ones been stupid enough to bid for it yet…
