Last couple of days when I attempt to sign in messenger it either has me do a word verification or it will just sit connecting and never connect .. I have no problems signing in to yahoo.com itself .. do u suppose someone is trying to get my PW ? sheesh I dont now but other IDs work just fine.

sounds to me that there have been two many attempts on that particular screen name.
