I just got a new computer with winXP. I like the XP style for the desktop, but I want to change the color of the “start” button. I don’t want to buy an XP theme, I just want to change the “start” button color–NOTHING else. Is there a hex code or something?
After a bit of searching, I found a possible fix Here. I haven’t tested it yet, so just make sure you make a backup of any files you change before you actually change them. Nothing you change in the theme files should be fatal, so I wouldn’t get too worked up.
Update: I tried to make this work, but to no avail. The guy claims it worked for him, maybe you’ll have better luck. If you do make sure to tell us 😀
Hey Hey. I got it to work 🙂 Thanks Zlink
