I dont use XP,but I know alot of you guys use it and some may want the old 98se login (DIRECTLY TO DESKTOP AT TURN ON)
Heres how you do it:
Click start, run and enter: control userpasswords2
Uncheck the checkbox that says:
“Users must enter a username and password to use this computer” and then click apply
Then enter the name of the user you want to automatically log in…..

Why would you bother posting this? Why do you really think anyone here wants to do that? Not only is it not a smart thing to do because it compromises security, but nobody has asked that you post this.
This is a support forum, not a post any ‘help’ you want. Next thing we know you’ll be posting every damn tweak from http://www.tweakxp.com (Of which Auto-Logon is listed).
I’m going to ask you not to do this again, it’s basically SPAM (Even though it contains semi-useful information).

AutoAdminLogon set to 1Yeah, that’s how the program I wrote that we use at work works….registry editing kicks ass.
The Dude: This is not a ‘tip forum’, there is no need for anyone to post random (face it, that’s pretty darn random) tips. If someone asked that, then there would be no problem with you posting the solution.
