Hi all. Not sure if this is correct/best forum…but…..
I noticed until mid-September that after adding a photo to my Flickr there was a delay of a few hours till that photo appeared in my Y!360 Flickr photostream.
But SINCE mid-September I – and at least 2 other (BBB!) friends I see there – have posted more photos and 360 has simply not included the new ones at all 🙁
(I “cooked” it today, by laboriously resetting my Flickr email address, then re-adding my photostream to 360, which then DID include the newer photo).
Does anyone know what’s going on here – has Flickr (or Y!360) gone to sleep ?
I am seeing the same problem on my 360 page. Not only is the Flickr photostream not updating, but my blog entries in my “feed” section (which come from my other blog) do not update very quickly (although they do seem to update eventually). It’s not a local caching issue, so it must be something in their own server setup.
I would suggest reporting the problem on their beta feedback page. You might also find help on the Yahoo 360 forum and info on the latest changes on the Yahoo 360 Product Blog.
Let me know if you sort it out.
Aha!! I see one Flickr friend (BlueCarnation200) posted more to Flickr today, and her 360 HAS updated!!
So I piece together her, and Jeff and Sarah, and find a consistent pattern!
Photos added to Flickr between 24 Sep (+/-6) and 15 Oct (+/-1) were NOT updated into 360 – but outside those dates it appears ok.
This may be confirmed if/when either of YOU two post your next offerings. 🙂

You both HAVE made more public additions to Photostream now, but No Change on 360.
So much for my “theory” 🙁And I’m getting SOOOO tired of the red champagne label, and the red carpet !
The only obvious difference with you guys and BlueCarnation200 is that she probably doesn’t have nearly as MANY pix on Flickr yet…. I wonder if the same problem applies with other people…. or…. maybe Flickr just hates BBB people !?
Flickr screws up my photos on the upload. But they still update. Strange, eh?
BTW yeah I know, I had to give a psuedo age to get my email adress, so I’m legally aloud to get a 360I have again posted on Flickr and did a bit of research, received this response from the Flickr admin team –

Sorry, there’s a known bug between Flickr and 360 that
causes the delay in updating the photostream views on 360
pages. We are currently working with the 360 team to
resolve this issue however. Thanks for your patience.Delay isn’t the word! But I am trying … :0(
