Yahoo 8.0 problems, no sound and photo and file sharing doesnt work

Ok i downloaded it last night and it was working fine. NOW, i dont have sound when someone signs on and off, no sound with the audibles when i send and recieve them. And to top it off when i try to send a fileor do the photo sharing, the person i am chatting with doesnt recieve an invite to accept it, does anyone know what is going on here?? and if so what i can do to fix it. And yes i have checked my preferences. 😡

Last night my photo sharing didnt work either and the sign in/sign off notification doesnt always appear and i only use version 7.

Could be a corrupted installation

try reinstalling from the full installation not the install web suite as it seems to cause a lot of problems.
