Hello Everyone, i have this one person that keeps emailing me, is there anyway to make this person think that i no longer have my yahoo email account, so they will not write me anymore? I dont want to just tell them not to write anymore and start a big argument, i’d rather just let them think i no longer have this email address! Thanks tom
send a message back saying something to the effect of “Sorry, but this email address has been discontinued by the user. Please remove this email address from your address list. Thank you.” The key is to make it sound official, like its coming from the system administrator and not from you. that way you can keep the email active, just make them think its not. i used this on a few emails i had that i stopped using, but didnt want to (or couldnt) cancel altogether.
otherwise, if you want to scare them, make up something else, like maybe “Attention : This user has contacted the Yahoo email administrator with a complaint about malicious and/or unsolicited email abuse. Please discontinue this abuse immediately, or action will be taken by the administrators. Thank you.”
hope that helps

Thanks for the suggestions, i will see if it works, Tom
