ok when i click on view profile it comes up with a message that says::”Windows cannot find ‘http://profiles.yahoo.com/username’.Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click start, and then click search.’ Ok, this just started happening, and i’ve tried reinstalling it but it still comes up with that. If you have any idea let me know..

Its just yahoo it happens alot its not you pc or your messanger Its just a quirk that yahoo has sometimes try going to login >my profiles >create or edit . or tools > view freinds> profile or view my profile one of those should work .
i just tried the ways you said and i got the same error message. But when i tried the create/edit my profile it came up with a huge long error message.lol i dont know whats happening. The only thing i can think of was when i ran my spy sweeper it deleted something,but i already tried reinstalling it and still nothing happened.
I had problems looking at profiles and after many attempts to figure out the problem I finally got a response from Yahoo. For those of you with a cable connection the following will fix the ability for you to look at profiles……worked for me 😀
The following change to your Browser’s Network settings should correct
the problem you are experiencing viewing Profiles:-Click “Tools” from the IE browser bar
-Then select “Internet Options”
-Choose the “Connections” file tab
-Then choose the “LAN Settings” button
-Next, un-check the box for “Automatically detect settings”
-Click “OK” and then “OK” againIve already done that too. I asked yahoo but they have never emailed me back yet. I just dont know what i did.lol well thanks though. If anyone else has anything please let me know..thanks:)
