MemberBy kill do you mean taking your id or getting it deactivated, cause taking someones id can be fairly simple depending on who they are, getting them deactivated is easier then stealing them. But yahoo has caught on to some techniques that people were using to get accounts deactivated, my buddy came up with a rather ingenius one, but they figured it out after a week, and after a 1000 ids gettin deactivated.

MemberDid it say “You have been logged off, cause you have logged onto another machine” ? It sounds like either someone stole your password an logged you off, or they booted you, then locked up your account so you couldn’t sign back in. The first thing you need to do here is figure out exactly what happened, what happens when most people lose their ids is they don’t try and figure out what happened, which is the logical thing to do, i understand most people dunno ne ways at all how ids are stolen. I would goto http://www.my.yahoo.com and try to log the id in. If your id was stolen you should be able to recover it, if not thru password lookup, you can contact yahoo! But if you don’t remember the information you put on the account(different then your actual info “bogus info”) You cannot recover the account, unless you can remember exactly what it was. Go here:
http://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_forgot_pw
Were it says: Your Birthday – put in your birthday
Your Zip(or Postal) Code – put in your zipcode
Your Country or Territory – put in your country
2. Forgot your password?
Enter your Yahoo! ID – put your id right thereThen press the button GET NEW Password
If the info is correct it will take you to your secret question. If its not right then it will say “You must match the information stored in your Yahoo! account.” If you get to the secret question try to answer it, an it also might have a button to email yourself a new password, if u know for sure your email is on the account and u have access to it, then email yourself a new pw if u can’t answer the question. And if your account is terminated(deactivated) it will tell you that instead of refreshing the pw look up screen. Lemme knowJune 13, 2003 at 1:02 am #95086darkjedi

MemberAlso, chances are that the org guy has already gotten rid of that nick and moved on to a new one. That’s how they stay on Yahoo! It happens all of the time in a room I used to visit. (Notice the keyword USED) These guys booted a lot and were reported…so they just got rid of their names and changed to new ones. After a while you just have to figure there are some rooms that attract those kind of people. And not everyone who visits chat rooms is a freak with no life. Just the ones that get their jollies out of booting the INNOCENT people in the room. I have no comment about those who boot buttheads…

MemberNote the keyword there FIGHT room, in a fight there are no rules, and the object is to win, no matter the cost, you shouldn’t go in there an expect your id to get stolen though, i used to go in there and tell people were they was from to mess with them. Getting booted in the fight room is something that should be expected, it’s almost the same as goin to booters lounge and gettin booted, Certain chat rooms you should expect some rules being broken very regularly, Yahoo! does have a warning when u enter the fight room, that if you don’t want to fight you shouldn’t be there.
