Memberya know i have been chatting for about 7 years now and yahoo changes so much every day. back then we didnt have to worry about so many bugs then we do now and people complaining. there will always be a bug somewhere in a software program. i got my own computer and been around too long to know. im not know expert or anything but i have been reading this site, and it just so happens that i add people and then they always stay invisble and never contact me back. then i delete them. i could care less if they still have me on their list. so i just move on. but my question is why add someone that will always stay invisible?

MemberOk, first of all it sounds as though you are being hard on yourself. I seriously doubt all of your friends are staying invisible just to ignore you. If so, then you need some new friends. Secondly, Yahoo and its lights are having problems again. I was invisible to my best friend all weekend even though I was online with my light turned on. So just chill and go join some Yahoo groups. There are plenty of them out there and I bet you can find one with an interest that you enjoy and before long you will have plenty of friends. Just give it a try.

MemberCompletely true…. as I am chatting with my friend right now… he went offline and restarted his PC….and his light NEVER went out. I realized he was back only b/c it knocked at me… and he TOLD me he was back. (and I KNOW he restarted his pc) And we only complain b/c of that old saying… the squeeky wheel gets the grease. Cheer up and don’t be so hard on your friends! 😉

ummmm im not taking this hard on myself and im not crying about it, if they want to add me they add me thats fine. its just the internet. if you will just scroll up to where it says i delete them and could care less and move on…..thats what im talking about there so why should i join in groups, etc? when it doesnt interest me? all i been doing is nothing but working on my webpage and getting it up and running. if i wanted to be so hard on myself i would come here and get weird attention out of the blue thank you have a nice day 😉

I am a bit confused. You did come here and you did post about it. So does this mean you DO care and it does interest you and you are being hard on yourself?
I do have a tiny advice though, despite your apparant rudeness. One thing that happens to me alot is when you have a semi ok conversation with someone and they immediately add you to their list and you feel a bit bad about saying “no.. i don’t want to talk to you after this” when the person has been going on about their life story. So you allow the add, but later the person becomes pesky and you either remove your ID from their list or more likely remove their ID from your list and possibly ignore them or stay invisible so you wont get a message from them. The moral of the story is, don’t be quick to add people to your list and make sure you both really want to continue with further conversations before you do.
But hey, as long as it doesn’t “bother” you.
