Uh, I’d like it if you would be a little clearer, but I’ll give it a shot.
First, does he have Yahoo! Messenger? Do you have Yahoo Messenger?
If you both do, then you can talk with eachother.
What do you mean switch back and forth? You can set them both up to run them at the same time, just like I do.Yahoo messenger and GoogleTalk are two seperate programs and you can run them at the same time like you can do with any other programs so.
If your friend does not have GoogleTalk installed you both can talk on yahoo but you can still remain online on GoogleTalk as you will have both the IM software running.
You dont have to close one to use the other.
