I am using the latest Yahoo! Messenger.
My problem is:
When I recieve email nothing pops up to let me know I have NEW mail.
If I sign off my Yahoo! then sign back on, then it tells me I have new mail in my inbox.
I used to get a notification letting me know. I do get it on my other computer, but not my main one. All the options are checked on each other the same, but still nothing happens.
Ive reinstalled Messenger and it still doesnt work.
Any help would be appreciated,
thanks!
It’s a matter of how often you have it set up to check for new mail. It automatically does so when you sign in…which is why you have it when you sign back in. You need to go into preferences and change the amount of time inbetween checks.
where is that option? I dont see it to check how often…?
I know I’ve been able to do it on other versions…but looking through this one I don’t see it. I’ve been looking around and it seems to be gone. :O I’ll keep looking to see if there’s an alternative. Sorry about that…honestly I have not used it in few versions back of Yahoo! because I usually know already when to expect my e-mails. I’m on the casee though, if I find something I’ll post it here.
