hi gang as anyone had problems with yahoo messenger using windows xp
well i did i got connected but no contacts came up. so i deleted yahoo and reinstalled but no use. so i went to windows update for some reason and downloaded xp service pack sp1 and now my yahoo works great this pack contains fixes and patches for xp

I’ve been running Yahoo Messenger on Windows XP for months and have never had the problem you described. I think it might be coincidence that your buddy list showed up after loading XP Service Pack 1, but you never know. By the way, I have NOT yet loaded SP1.

thanks fanatic your lucky over yahoo but its only lately i had that problem. this windows xp sp1 big download ok if you have broadband but if you use 56 modem well guess it takes ages:)

yeah it takes hell of time on 56k you will be woooooooooooooooof phew after downloading service pk 1 LOL
