Yahoo! Messenger 6 is out!!

Hi welcome to BigBlueBall. A a couple of things…I know where your menu is…but first, there’s a button near your posts so you can edit your previous post if you forgot to add something. (It’ll make you look like a pro on this site)…now for your menu…you have to look under the “CHAT” menu and then scroll down and you’ll see “FAVORITE ROOMS” just below “Change Chat Room” and above “Go to user.” Hope this helped. 🙂

The mail tab is the one that shows Y! on it, It should automatically show it when you install it on the bottom of messenger along with other tabs. To add or remove tabs go to Messenge -> Preferences -> Content Tabs.

im on the process of making a new skin but I have a lil prob. Im editing the .xml file and I cant find where to change the FONT COLOR of the options “Remember my Id and Password, Automatically sign in, Sign in as invisible” on the sign in window.

I am having a problem that nobody else seems to have and nobody I’ve talked to so far has a solution for it.
When I first installed YIM 6 my picture showed up on everyone’s IM window with no problem. One day someone IMed me and then said that my picture wasn’t showing, it was just a white blank. I had not changed any settings regarding the image display but went through and looked at them anyway. Nobody is able to see my picture anymore. I make sure I am visible to them, all the image settings are correct, I have the latest Macromedia Flash Player, I’ve tried deleting the cache files as suggested by yahoo help, I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it, I’ve uninstalled it (deleting all references to yahoo on the harddrive and in the registry) then reinstalled it, today I formatted my harddrive (it needed it anyway) and it still doesn’t show my picture. I can see both my picture and the other person’s picture. Even stranger is when I change it to an avatar they can see it.
Today I had a friend sign in with my id and try it on her computer. She had the same problem. I also created a new id and tried that but to no avail.
