Yahoo! have released a new build of Yahoo! Messenger

Think perhaps this build is in preparation for the new chatroom verification

I noticed they fixed an issue I had with audibles. 😛 Which was pretty nice of them.

When I go to preferences and click on ‘alerts and sounds’, I go to make a selection to change my sound and my Yahoo Messenger crashes in the msvcrt.dll. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I have the same problem. Thanks in advance to whom ever answers my post.

Is Yahoo! forcing everyone to update their Yahoo! Messenger or is it just me?!? I tried logging in today but it kept taking me to a page to download the new messenger instead. So i’m wondering if this applies to everyone.

It most likely does. Logic dictates that if Yahoo wants you to update, that you should update… either that, or you have update alerts on in the Yahoo! Preferences. 😛
