Now that Mr. High ‘n Mighty Chet Simpson has begun selling his Y!Tunnel Pro.. not at 10 bucks anymore.. he’s seen the green and jacked it up to 17 bucks… and NO LONGER let’s the poor people use the free version anymore… Yahoo Messenger is unusable.. Any 2-bit booter with even the SIMPLEST boot or spam code is a nightmare… Mr High ‘n Mighty knows that FORCING expiration of the free version and letting everyone GET SMASHED LEFT AND RIGHT by everyone that has a booter or even knows how to invite someone more than 4 times in a row MUST buy his jacked up priced Y!Tunnel Pro… I can’t even use Messenger anymore because I go into a room… SPAM>>> LOCKUP… ypager.exe has errors.. restart it.. go into a different room… within a minute… ALL SORTS OF CONFERENCE WINDOWS/INVITES/FILE SENDS/BUDDY REQUESTS … BOOT!! ypager.exe has errors… restart it AGAIN.. Maybe this time I can at least say HI on the mic right?? right when i begin to speak… SPAM/BOOT WINDOWS>>> ERROR>> CRASH>>> Messenger is totally useless now for me. I totally agree with you and feel the same as you that he has planned this delay to get people to give in and buy his pay version. 😡
But I am holding out hope that he will hold up to his word and get a new free version out, until then I have set the date back on my computer and fooled YTunnel into working. It doesn’t know its time to expire!

yeah it sucks but setting your computer clock back works pretty well. I think
the problem is that after using Y!Tunnel we have become too spoilt with the no-boot
experience. I had yahoo messenger for a year before i got y!tunnel and sure the boots
were annoying but I didn’t really think about it much. Now, I can’t join a chatroom without y!tunnel… The only problem this causes though, is that for some weird reason,
my message archives creates two logs for each conversation. One, with my computer’s date consisting ONLY of my lines, the other, the person i am talking to, with correct date, with only THEIR lines! Anyone else has noticed anything similar?I think you can change the date just before you launch Y!Tunnel. And once it is launched, you change back the date to the correct value.
Y!Tunnel will continue to work ! But shhhhhhhhttttt ! Don’t tell it to Chet !
if anyone can possibly supply me with possible missing installation file or files it would be greatly appreciated…
