When I say “Yahoo of any sort”.. I mean Yahoo messenger, Yahelite, Y!mLite…. For the past 2 weeks or longer, I’ve been having problems with Yahoo disconnecting after a certain amount of time. At first, it would do it every 10 or 15 minutes… I ran a virus scan, thinking it might be from a trojan or what not, whatever was found was taken care of (or so I thought) and for a few days, things worked fine.. But it started up again, it doesn’t disconnect so frequently now, maybe every 30 minutes or longer then that… Does anyone know if there is some sort of virus running around out there that could be causing this? Could it just be MY computer? Thanks in advance! :rolleyes:
Perhaps the ping rate on them other’s are not set low enough to keep connection alive, are you on dialup?
on yahelite i would type /ping 4,30 in yahelite
Not sure of the ping options in other clients.
