MemberI was wondering if I could see my old password before requesting a new one, someone changed my yahoo password and I want to know what stupid thing it is now:| bah and how can I keep random people from changing it? thankies 🙁
ignore top bit ^ – Im a bit puzzled, sorry to bug and ask silly questions that’ve probably already been answered 10x over, anyways.. my yahoo settings are set to where all I have to do is click it and it logs in, so I never need to type in the user name or password, yet earlier when I clicked the icon a box came up saying username or password invalid. I kept checking my username and password, everytime it was right, and it still said invalid, yet just 5 minutes ago I decided to try once more and suddenly it logged in 😮 while Im happy to have my account back, just wondering if this is some yahoo glitch and if its happened to anyone else before? thankies
EDIT: Topic title changed. Please use descriptive titles.

MemberHello Banana hat:
Any discusion about cracking or hacking passwords or any other thing in that order, yours or not is not permited on BBB, so if I were you I would’nt ask something like that here. Just some frienly advice;)

MemberDoesn’t look lieke it is really about that though. It sounds to me like your cookies are screwed up (these save some settings about your ID’s, ect). I’ve never had it tell me invalid cookie but I have had it ask me to login even though I had it set to automatically log me in every web page I visit.

MemberThere is A glitch with the new Messenger ( 6.0 ) that will do this. I’ve had it do it a few times. I believe it has something to do with their new banning techniques ( which are by no meens done correctly, BLAH ). Either way, I don’t believe it’s done by anyone cracking the account

MemberLike Nick suggested, sounds to me like something in your Internet Browser Cookie Settings.
To test this, login to http://mail.yahoo.com
after it has succesfully logged in, proceed to
http://edit.yahoo.com/config/isp_verify_cookie?
If it returns your Account, then it might just be a glitch in messenger as
previously stated.
Although the redirect Yahoo! is using is coming off their msg.edit.yahoo.com servers, which as of late has been experiencing difficulties.
