Yahoo Question?

Hi, My brother tried to logon to Yahoo email today and it took 3 tries before he was successful, then he tried to sign in to his yahoo his IM. It stated it was already in use and they closed him down when he tried? Can someone else get onto someones yahoo instant messenger without them knowing about it?

Yeah, if they have a weak password and somebody can take a guess at it. Was your brother logged into Yahoo! Messenger or any other Yahoo website when this occurred? If so, that’s why.

I’d also suggest changing the password to the account to something containing uppercase letters and numbers.

Thats what I thought, I told him to change his password and see if it happens again. Waiting to see what he is going to do. Thanks
