uhmp… why are some of my yahoo smiley’s not working? i mean some of the smileys in ym are moving like the hug, laughing, kiss, cry, clap, whistle, etc… but in my computer it doesnt move… it’ll move once then when i use that smiley again it wont move anymore…
anyone knows why:confused::confused::confused: im using windws 2000 prof.same problem with me…. this happens only once… I mean the smileys laugh/cry only once after that whenever a new moving smiley is used, then it wont work… I think this is a bug in Y!… but I have observed this that if you close the window and again open a new chat window, the smileys work…
yeah right… but i think the problem is also in the computer i just dont know what. Coz If i use my PC they’re all working. But if i use the laptop, there the smileys dont move anymore.:(
I use XP pro, and the smileys work in such a way that when a smiley is posted, it does one animation, then stops. If the same smiley is posted again, it will do the one animation again, then become static.
I think this is just how yahoo! have set it, i would imagine smileys that continually loop their animations on your screen would get annoying and give you a headache.
I know that a programmer can choose wether or not a gif animation should loop continually or not, and I would guess Yahoo! have this option not set.

i would like to know where i can find the dirt smilleys yahoo use to have them but i cant seem to find them any more please help

Basefaces (adult smileys) can be found in our Yahoo! Links area. Remember these will simply just replace your original smileys and no one else will see them when you use them (unless they themselves have them installed as well).
