anyone have any ideas
i have the latest versions of the firmware and the yahoo messenger

and i STILL cant get it
i enabled DMZ and i still cant make it work
It can’t be done. This is a known problem with Yahoo Super webcam and all NATs such as the Linksys router. You’re only hope is to plug your broadband connection directly into your NIC for those times when you need/want Super webcam mode.
As an aside, I’ve done this and Super webcam mode isn’t all that much better. If you use the small video size, the best I got was 5-6 fps. At the larger, 320×240 video size it went down to 2-3 fps. Basic webcam mode is about 1 fps. Pretty disappointing.
I have a Linksey router hooked up to my 2 pc’s. For the hell of it I sent a webcam invite from 1 to the other. It asked me do I want to use Superwebcam mode, I clicked yes and I was getting SWC mode between the 2.
yea right? i get 10+ fps….
