Hi everyone…..I thought ycht was dead and gone? ….Im in a room right now….people are using YAHELITE and are in YCHT PROTOCAL!!!!! ….There are a couple of people using it…..I see it when I put my curser over their name in the chatters list (protocal : YCHT)………….someone is asking them how they are doing it…..and that person is being told the secret in a private message box. (only because they know each other) Does anyone on here know anything about this?….YCHT was unbootable and I’d love to have that feature back……….please let me know if you know anything about this..thanks so much!

August 11, 2006 at 12:47 am #150442DermotParticipantThey just changed their INF tag to say YCHT
You can untick protocol and go an put in PROT:YCHT in options >> inf tags
as well.

There are only two protocol’s left. Ymsg and chat 2.
August 11, 2006 at 4:06 pm #150443DermotParticipantThere are two types of YCHT
YCHT 1 and YCHT 2
YCHT 1 is the original YCHT that is still working for “Japanese” yahoo users only!
You must have a Japanese created Y! Account and use only the Japanese Y! servers, These are seperate from the Y! we use.
YCHT 2 is what we used and which was updated to remove statuses and the infamous YCHT disconnect bug was totally removed and used for the java chat applet at chat.yahoo.com which was recently discontinued and removed from service.
No non japanese user can use YCHT 1
