I seem to be having a new phenomenon, where the messenger (7.5 Beta, which I’ve been running for awhile) changes my status from Invisible, so I can pick and choose who I chat with, to Available. I’ve checked and confirmed my settings numerous times but nothing works to correct this.
Oh, and as an afterthought, does anyone have any ideas why would it show me connecting and using my default setting of “log me in as Invisible” and immediately display me as available?
I’m normally pretty savvy with this kind of stuff but these behaviors baffle me.Thanks!
It’s probably because it’s a beta that you are using…they are not always as stable as final releases. Perhaps they are playing with a few things and changed something?? Maybe report it to Yahoo! so they can see if it’s a beta bug.

I’ve had 7.5.0.333 for a month or two, and while indeed there are occasional “odd” things it might do, I’ve had no sign of those effects you mention.
I’d be baffled too 🙁 … but let’s know if/when you find a solution.
