MemberI have to go with Unsakred on this one. I looooooooove Trainspotting.
And this is gonna be weird I’m sure, but my second fave would have to be Moulin Rouge.
And what is equilibrium? I’ve been cut off for a bit, bein all broke and no net.
So far as movies topping the Matrix, has anyone seen eXistenZ?

MemberBeing a student of Film Studies, I obviously see alot of films. I have a range of favourites. However my main favourites come from the horror genre. These are, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (That is, Tobe Hooper’s verison, not the 2003 remake), Scream, and A Nightmare On Elm Street, both of which were directed by Wes Craven. Also the 1922 film, Nosferatu struck me as being an excellent and influential, if dated film.
There are other favourites of course, two that spring to mind are Seven and Saving Private Ryan. The opening sequence of SPR is excellent.

Participantof course I have to go with the original Matrix. the other two were blah, you can watch the first one and be done with the series. you wont be any worse off not seeing reloaded and revolutions.

KeymasterLa Vita Bella. That had everything I could want in a movie.
Then comes Snatch. One of the funniest movies I’ve seen.
