*blink* … … you don’t know who tupac is? *checks where you are* Okay I don’t know where you are but you’re obviously not in the US, heheh. Or just really a youngin!
Tupac is a rapper, a very very famous rapper that every rap buff is obsessed with. He and the Notorious B.I.G. were involved in the East-West rap wars in the US. Tupac was the first notable rap killing and murder mystery, being gunned down in vegas. There are folks who still believe that he is alive somehow (like elvis sightings hehehe) and spot him. But, his albums are still being released and produced by people like Dr. Dre and Eminem.
Yeah. *shrug*
And Ella was a jazz singer, one of the most popular in the world, born in 1917 and dying in the 80s. 13 grammies, chairman in the MLK foundation, NAACP lifetime acheivement award, Founder of the Ella Fitzgerald Foundation: “The Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation was created and funded in 1993 by Ella Fitzgerald, the First Lady of Song, in order to fulfill her desires to use the fruits of her success to help people of all races, cultures and beliefs.”
