how did everbody like the end of prison break? did you like it better than the first season? i kinda liked the first season better. wonder what is going to happen in the 3rd season. what are your thoughts of the 3rd season? how far can they actually take the show without getting very boring?
April 5, 2007 at 3:22 am #160018detn8rParticipantSo there IS going to be a third season? YES! I missed the second half of season 2, so I’m going to buy it when it comes out on DVD to add it to my season 1 collection :p so, until I see what I’ve missed, you won’t see my face in here any more :p
April 5, 2007 at 4:13 am #160021PhilipModeratorPrison Break season 2 is just going to start on April 9 here. So I won’t say anything yet. But I will say this: shows like Prison Break and Lost can’t afford to drag on for too many seasons, otherwise it becomes tiring for viewers to keep up with the going-ons. This is unlike 24 (my fave show) where each season is basically self-contained.
April 5, 2007 at 4:20 am #160017Jeff HesterKeymasterI’m actually disappointed with the end of Season 2. It’s starting to really drag out, and I’m beginning to lose interest. I agree with you, Philip, each season of 24 is self-contained, so it’s easier to let it continue.
April 5, 2007 at 9:27 pm #160019princeGParticipantI thought it would end for good in this season, but apparently it isn’t. However it doesn’t disappoint me. Maybe it’s the fact that the ending had a slight LOST similiarity and that’s why I liked it =p
April 8, 2007 at 3:20 pm #160023den44057Memberall my kids love this show. i think season 3 will be boring though. the kids think it will be as great as the first season. i dont know how much farther they can take it, but i guess we`ll see. i think they could of made another season of them trying to break out of prison. i liked that season best.
April 8, 2007 at 4:15 pm #160020PolarBearNPRParticipantHmmm – what started out as a solve-the-puzzle type show with interesting characters has gone surreal it seems. I agree with princeG, even though I don’t watch Lost, the ending scenes made me think of what I had seen advertised of that show. Is this some sort of international, world-domination scheme (sona)? I dunno. I like the characters and think my favorite (T-bag) will be back so when season 3 airs, I’ll be watching. But the story seems to have taken on this other-worldly aura and I prefer keeping it real. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
May 29, 2007 at 2:46 am #160022PhilipModeratorJust caught up with episode 8 of Prison Break (season 2) and I must say the excitement is still there. All the twists and turns makes PB a fascinating series to watch.
