Are you aware of this… You can be arrested for violating Orange county’s juvenile curfew law and other laws made by the county and your city? Most places in the United States, not just Orange county have their own curfew and other laws for juveniles – I do not know about other countries!
EDIT- Trashing other people’s properties (not just yard) may seem funny, but you probably didn’t think of this before how SOME people would feel what someone did to their properties! Why don’t you and your friends get another fifty rolls of toliet paper and start trashing your own yard? Maybe that will help you to see how SOME people would feel about their properties being trashed…

I cleaned up my fair share of toliet paper from the trees in my yard when I was in school and not one time did I OR my parents think it was distruction of our property. Egging, spray painting, bashing in mailboxes..now THOSE are pushing it because it can cause permanent damage not to mention it’s breaking laws. I’m not stupid nor do I not have a life, I was a kid that lived in a small hick town where this was a “ritual” kids had fun doing.
C’mon..it’s toliet paper..you know the biodegradable stuff that you can tear down, throw away or just let disinegrate??? It’s not a computer virus affecting thousands of people, it’s not a gun being shoved in your face, it’s not drugs being handed out at school..it’s TOLIET PAPER.

And eggs aren’t?! Public mischief is also illegal. You just can’t have any fun anymore 🙁 Anyway, the cars we got just pulled into the gas station around the corner, and used the squeegee to clean off any mess. At least we didn’t cause any damage.
I think the worst you can do is throw sliced cheese on windshields, or condoms as they smear when you turn the wipers on. 😀
I also live in a small hick town of about 350 people – we gotta make our fun. My town’s kids haven’t done anything TOO bad. I remember putting a black wig on someone’s wind shield, and they drove off with it.. not that funny I guess, but it was one of those “you had to be there things”. Then someone left their HUGE pair of tighty whiteys on the road. After it rained, we picked them up with a stick and left them spread open on the windshield of some minivan. NOW THAT’S FUNNY! 😀
All in all, it’s just kids having some fun. It beats sitting on the front porch drinking lemonade waving to all the cars passing by with eggs on them 😀

Thats a pretty bad attitude. If someone went and shot a whole lot of people is it ok as long as you don’t do it youself?
its toilet paper, not guns… I think this whole thing is just a matter of perspective. its harmless fun, its not hurting anybody or destroying anything, it may be a violation of some kind of laws but come on who hasnt broken the law at some point?
May 10, 2004 at 7:24 pm #45777stephesmybabyMemberlol , these are some pretty funny stories… I think I just might go toilet papering this weekend 😀
May 10, 2004 at 8:00 pm #45761Someguy03MemberEveryone I have ever known has liked it when they were toilet papered. They think its fun, and they can’t wait to find out who did it. It only isn’t fun when you go and take toilet paper and get it in your grass, where it gets wet and stays there. One family on the street I toilet papered thought it was so fun that they cleaned up almost all of it for everyone.

OK. Fine. I guess its just American culture or something cause its un-heard of down here. If your board though, why not play soccer or something or do something constructive instead of annoying other people or wasting toilet paper?
May 19, 2004 at 11:14 am #45772dmeMemberWhen I was back in Secondary School, at about age 15, we where encouraged by our teachers to put into practice what we learnt during lessons. Of course, we never learnt about the fine art of toilet papering. What we did learn though, was the fine art of potassium permanganate, which turns water a purple colour. I remember buying about 40 bottles of the stuff, at around $0.60. cheap, within the toilet paper and eggs price range. By night, as though on some secret James Bond type mission, dressed from head to toe in black, a group of about 4 sneeked into the school’s ground and secretly emptied every single vial into the school’s water resevoir.
Took them 2 weeks to find the problem and solve it, and of course we were never found out. For two weeks, toilets flushed purple, and hands washed were washed purple too. Incidentally, that was one of the milder things we did.
Oh the memories!!!I’m a little too mature for toilet papering now, but i’d defenitely do it if I was 16 again. Hmmm. hold on.. I have a batchleors party coming up. You’re supposed to be a little immature, so I i’ll try to send pictures of a toilet papered car soon… 🙂
