Can anyone tell me why The UK is only doing 5.1 on their site?

This happens to me too, when I use the latest version.
I am not sure what it is, but other people are known to notice this too.
It really is annoying, having a convo and minus it only to let it sit for 2 hours not thinking they are IMing you back when you found they have IMed thousands of times and signed off, right in the middle of a good convo!Try Downgrading bck to 5.2 (A lot better)

AIM_UserThere is no such true program. The reason is because that would invade on someones privacy. They block you they have that right. A program like this for AIM will not be released by the AOL Corporation. Maybe a “prog” but progs are great sources of spyware and viruses.
So no, no program like this for AIM.

Please use the search tool first. If you want a personalized one there are plenty of sites that do that with little or no charge!

*Note; Moo – You need to make sure the image fits the proper bitmap size. Cannot exceed a certain limit. (Make sure it is in AIM regulations size or else they wont let you, since it would be too big for that little square)

At my old school, when I went to high school (last year) every site would be stored, then as I used to think, the Evil Computer Fiary would look at what sites I visited and look at them, then block them no matter how education, looking for some kind of excuse.
Yeah….it was horrible.

It happend, to me aswell.
At first I wasn’t able to send anyone a message.
Then I signed off, tried to sign back on and my buddy list or buddy icon could not be loaded, something like that.
Then for about 45 minutes I tired to sign on but kept getting the message ” The AIM Service Cannot be reached”.Finally after about an hour I tried and signed on, I noticed I wasnt the only one who had gotten “kicked” or signed off because of this, most people were just signing on when I did, or had been on for only a very short period of time.

There is an easy way around this,
Schools figure if your smart enough to figure it out, your smart enough not to “do anything bad” with it. (It is pretty simple)
Get the AIM File.Rename it (anything, but do something like, historypencil so it sounds school related) *Be sure you didnt rename the file this, just the file name.
Then take it (It will appear as a download)
and place it on a geocities site, or whatever free site you want. The school blocks this kind of hosting, so then go to http://www.tk.tk and register a FREE .tk domain name. The school accepts this (Bess, HTTP Block, and BOCES aswell as other block programs). When you visit the site at school the download, named historypencil will popup, download it, but dont press save! Just press “OPEN”.Ah the good ole’ days of 12th Grade (Last year)
