ParticipantJeff, how did you get the code for those smilies?
you didn’t rip it from there program. that would be some kind of cracking and against the law….
so all i can think of is that you used a legal way of getting those codes.
AOL: omg, they have *aim* or *aol* on there site. lets look if we can shut down that site

Participantbtw whatch out that you don’t get to much visitors with a lot of icons on 1 page…..

ParticipantOnly Good hackers are Good.
it can mean 2 things…
– a good hacker is good at thinking/iq and stuff– You can use the power/mind/iq of a Good hacker to prevent people from hacking you.
i’ve seen a list with common passwords.
hackers have built that list. and now you can use it to pick a root password.and a good hacker won’t harm your files.
it will rename your index and put a ‘hacked’ index in that place.
you can get mad about that. but think about it..
that hacker used something to place that file there.
good hackers will tell you how they got in.then you can change that to prevent more hacks.
btw i’m not hacker. sometimes i can loginto systems…
but i always report bad passwords, and i don’t try. only if i’ve found a password.
thats why i had Allowee’s Security Team, allowee.madsims.net
google for it because it doesn’t exists anymoreAllowee
Participantno, no money….

Participantyou can look at http://msn.tweakzone.nl/blockcheck
i don’t care if they get in the block list….
i asked them if they could use my OSI because i don’t got to much load…
but they changed to another OSI host, with a high load…Allowee
Participanti just found out about the slow loading status page……
empty cache made it load fast again 🙂Allowee
Participant“The attack has also been reported to the appropriate Dutch police authorities. “
they won’t do a thing about it…..
my friend works there…
they will check a few things.. thats about it
they won’t get DNS/WHOIS records and talk to the ISP’s.
to much work…..there are scripts which will not allow more then 10 connections, from 1 ip, at 1 sec.
I would also built in a service load checker…
is the load on http to much, shut it down for 30 mins, is the DNS load to much… shut it down for 15 mins.I always advise: not put more then 2 services, which can get a heavy load, on 1 server. splitt it.

Participantyou don’t need to run apache for OSI, you need to have java to run OSI
OSI is a small version of apache (it’s not… but for people who don’t understand when i say that it has it’s own built in web server)

Participantthis is what i got in status.conf….
blocklist=asianavenue.com;bbs.twbear.net;com;dial4kiana.com;themepark.nl;mess.beso i think it’s ‘blocklist=’ and separate with ‘;’
i guess you have to restart OSI to activate the new settings…
no need for that in the Admin toolAllowee
Participanti can only find 1 blocked host in status.conf…
but they both block loading the image.
is the counter just counting for that request?
i saw it counting requests but didn’t see it in the latest refereroh well..
blocking hosts is always good when you can’t handle that much requests at 1 timeAllowee
Participantcan i use spaces between 2 or more hosts to block them?
i really need to block those sites..
