ParticipantIf you have some kind of firewall, check the setting and allow BuddySpy to access Internet. Maybe change the yahoo server name, use 42, 45…instaed of 38.

ParticipantNo @yahoo in user and search ID, only the user part of the address everywhere.

Participantnothandsome, what’s the version you got, 1.0.6 is stable and can be downloaded from http://www.unsakred.net. If you downloaded buddyspy1a.zip using the link found on this topic you may get one of the alpha version Unsakred is still working on.

Participantno error at all for single ID scan.
-I have a list of 5, one of the 5 is online, single ID scan result is correct but switch to the list scan the same ID becomes offline no matter how many time I clear the result and rescan. I remove one of the offline ID’s, clear and rescan: the online ID is still shown as offline. When at the end with only the online ID in the list, clear and rescan gives correct result. If I don’t clear the list before rescan I can’t see it as online.
-List scan doesn’t give missing component error when I remove webcam item but with webcam item checked I got missing component error & crash, I tried from 1 to 5 ID’s, with webcam on and off, same error 30 out of 30 scans.
-I am using a dial-up connection, room check is the only one delayed or no result at all but this doesn’t give error and crash.aneagle
ParticipantThe list is perfect, “remove” is grey when no object is selected. I tried more with list scan and it becomes more interesting: missing component error only appears when all ID’s from the list are offline but not all the times. I think it’s due to lost packet or corrupted packet from Yahoo server.

Participantmaybe hightlight when mouse over and right or left click popup menu, right or left click outside of ID field is ignored.

ParticipantFixed and uploaded?

ParticipantGood news, I got 4 missing returns on 5 ID scan and no error, no crash. It will be perfect to me if you change and get (right click or left click) -> popup menu.

Participantright, just right click and select remove without left click first to highlight the ID gives that error.

ParticipantEdit, sorry, didn’t realise that my post goes to a new page.

ParticipantGot it, highlight an ID and remove is ok, I mean left click and then right click on an ID and click remove, but point to an ID and right click right away (without a left click) got Run-time error ‘5’ invalid procedure call argument and crash. I don’t get missing component error so far because there’s no missing return from Yahoo server, not easy to recreate the scenario.

Participant1.0.17 is not there yet, I just downloaded and still see 1.0.16. The element not found may be ignored because in some cases the return packet is lost, or you can popup a warning without crashing the program. On the 1.0.16 transition webcam on to off and off to on is shown correctly, only the offline to online is not. I didn’t try the chat room check because I never go to the chat room.

ParticipantAllien22, go back to the first page, 15th post and there’s the link to solve the mscomctl.ocx problem.
