Mine still doesn’t move from the login screen to the user screen, probably due to my XP.
By any chance this could made to a modified yahoo plugin for miranda? that would be cool. 🙂
October 13, 2004 at 3:27 am #71769kimmyMemberMy log on info is entered. When I click on next, nothing happens, there is no screen change. I have been clicking on next and then going into spy settings. Are you saying my screen should change after clicking next?
October 13, 2004 at 12:31 pm #71750trust_no_1711MemberYes Kimmy. I don’t know the reason why, if your log info is correct, that it’s not changing. Have u tried using different servers, the only other thing I know is to unistal and reinstall. otherwise you’ll have to wait to c if anyone else knows how to help-sorry 😉

October 13, 2004 at 5:59 pm #71707UnSaKreDMemberKimmy,
It sounds like the encryption is not being completed, in order for the bot to login.
Ensure that you have both the .dll file and the exe in the same location.
Loverboy,
Yes you can add Buddy Spy to your website.
October 13, 2004 at 9:52 pm #71659zbigMemberJust following up on the comments regarding a “Detect Aliases” feature. Is detecting other aliases even possible with Yahoo messenger? Can it be added to Buddy Spy or are there other programs that people can recommend? Many thanks
October 14, 2004 at 7:57 pm #71708UnSaKreDMemberI am doing some checking around to see if you can detect aliases, in some form or another over YMSG Protocol, and If it is possible, then yes, I will add alias checker to the program.
I fixed a bug in beta 1.0.20, where the status check, will give a false positive, if the username being scanned is on the bot ID’s buddy list.
Build 1.0.21 will be released either tonight or tommorow, dependant if I find any other bugs, to fix.
October 14, 2004 at 9:46 pm #71738aniParticipantI just scanned some buddies that I knew were online, and spybuddy showed them as offline. These users are not on the bot’s list. Any idea why this happened?
October 15, 2004 at 1:01 am #71871takagenMemberMy bot can’t login either 🙁
Yes, I have the dll and exe together.Like what UnSaKreD said, it is due to the encryption not complete. But was wondering y it works for some and didn’t for others?
Despite, this is still a great prog.

What an awesome awesome tool!!! Thank you for putting these all into one program (rather than trying to get individual programs for each task).
I’m particularly interested in the aliases feature. I have a program I downloaded that will tell you all of the alias for a master user name, but you have to have the user name AND their password to use it (well heck, if you had that information, you could just go look for the profiles of the aliases without needed a program, no?)
I really hope you get the alias feature sorted out – that would definitely be something worth checking out!
Again.. What an AWESOME job!!! I’m going to download it now and give it a try… Can’t wait!

October 17, 2004 at 1:40 am #71815aneagleParticipantUnsakred,
I run 1a21 50 times and here’s the result:
– single ID scan is OK.
– list scan with only “online” option: all ID’s state change from all online to all offline at every scan regardless of their real state.
– list scan with only “online” + “webcam” option: CRASH.
– list scan with only “online” + “room” option: OK.
– list scan with only “webcam” option: CRASH.
– list scan with only “webcam” + “room” option: OK.
– list scan with all 3 options: OK.October 17, 2004 at 8:57 pm #71883ironbruMemberUnsakred first of all …….your proggy is a real blast …… anyway it still “suffers” from some “juvenile” mistakes …….I mean I have used all the lastest beta versions hardly ……..well the 1.0.21 build it’s undoubtedly more stable compared with the 1.0.20 …..but it gives false negative results more often …..so you need to restart the application in order to get the appropriate scan …….
I guess that’s all for now ……this is my little contribution to your application success !!!!!!!!!!!October 18, 2004 at 2:44 pm #71710UnSaKreDMemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by aneagleUnsakred,

I have done scans on lists,my lists were all different ID’s, then same IDS.
The list was about 20 id’s long, and they all seemed to display the correct information, via, webcam online/room/online as well.
Although, in earlier testing of this at my work machine, I found that sometimes you need to change the servers.
One gets too bogged down, and it might cause an issue of sending the packets back within a reasonable time frame.
Sometimes, the packets don’t come back at all..
But, I will continue to look in on the crashes.
