MemberI’m interested in creating custom audibles. Anyone know if that can be done, and how?

MemberI’ve done it now too, with Itunes m4p files. Just convert to audio, then to whatever format you like from there. Since it’s all digital, there shouldn’t be any loss in quality, and if there is, I sure can’t tell.
It’s so obvious, I was sure there’d be a roadblock. And it’s so easy to do, I don’t even see why they’re bothering with secure formats. Again, all I want is to truly OWN the files once I buy them, and not have any restrictions on their format, or how I use them.

MemberHere’s a question, if anyone knows the answer- can I burn these .rax files to an Audio CD, then rip ’em back on my HD as mp3’s?
That’s so obvious I’m betting I can’t, but I figured I’d ask. I don’t want to rip anyone off, it’s just that my whole music library is mp3, and I want to keep it that way. I don’t want to be screwing around with multiple formats, especially if they’re proprietary.
I’ve got no problem shelling out the dough, I just hate all of the garbage they pull trying to control what I do with it after I buy it. Thanks in advance for any help.
