Yeah im all done renaming. It just sucks cause it will load up fine with all their names nice and in order, but then soon as i start a chat, it signs them off 🙁 .
Any idea when the next release of Gtalk will be and if it will feature the icon/universal client capability?

well with that said, whats another client thats close to GTalk then if that name change bug has no fix. I like the simplicity, yet functionality of Gtalk without all the unecessary clutter of pointless buttons. Thanks for the reply.
