ICS always causes problems blocking ports, Mister Administrator try this program is better then analogx proxy and I think supports full socket5
Proxy – Pro Professional GateKeeper 4.5 by the way unistall ICS first it’s not good.I looked at ppshare which won’t let me use socket5 on MSN on the clients computers I tried and didn’t work while using analogx will let me do it but still without being able to send files from the clients only got to send files on the host since I unistalled ICS from windows.
finally can send files over MSN but only on the host computer running the dsl, thanks to analogx proxy, not the pppshare pro which only supports 2pc’s conected or pay for still a limited number at least this is all I needed to start with getting more ideas so people to really be able to send files over msn on all computers we need a proxy server that supports fully socket 5 any ideas where I can find it?
this sucks! the other party has to have it installed too! it’s like a trojan resident on this computer yeah like if we needed another MSN .! no way tell me to install something that will let me send and I’ll do it but not on both that sound ridiculo.
oh no! tell me mister know it all wha can happens to my pc if I’m running a ftp server surfing the web and and hosting lots of important files on my HD if my LAN doens’t have a firewall or a router or nothing but a single cross-over cable at the other end?

it is related to the topic some people think is their firewall other their routers when the only problem is the ICS the they use unless they can’t receive files then it’s not ICS but soemthing else. making progress… anyone out there!. tell me how to fix it
by the WAY people somebody there with knowledge on how to share my DSL connection with other pc’s on my lan without using ICS by micro$oft.!

This terapod thing is stupid the other party have to have it installed too it’s like putting a trojan on this pc yeah good idea naw I need to fix my MSN or the windows port damn thing etc.. anyone knows? by the way the only thing I’m using is a cat5 cross-over cable with nothing else !not a router, hub or firewall installed nothing, so there must be only a flaw on configuration or msn is not ready yet for my LAN? anyway some body there to help me…?
SO PEOPLE is not neccessarily your router firewall blackice or other external thing I know it must be the internet connection sharing I got problems with DC too that can’t find search because of some blocked UDP packets so I need to specify my IP and it works but I’m in passive mode so damn it.

I also have a network at home and can’t files over MSN Messenger not even on the host computer and it’s not either my isp or their firewall it started happening when I installed Internet Connection Sharing to my LAN, before that I coulded send files with no problems. I have no firewall and nothing that could be blocking any porst for outcoming data I reinstalled windows 98 installed my lan with ICS and same problem can anyone help me.
